Business Transfer valuations
It is most important if you are buying or selling a business to get a true and accurate stock valuation rather than just agreeing a figure with the other party.

Always use a stocktaker who has no financial interest in the business and is completely neutral, it will most likely save you money in the end.

A business transfer valuation also called a change of ownership can be carried out on behalf of the purchaser, vendor or between parties giving a fair and unbiased valuation of stock in trade. Any stock that is out of date, old, obsolete or belongs to a third party will not be counted.

Only stock in our considered opinion to be of saleable value will be counted.

At the end of the valuation a stock certificate is issued which is signed by all parties concerned.
 Annual or periodical stocktakes

Whether its monthly, quarterly or for your year end tax purposes we can supply you with a categorised breakdown of stock at retail and cost value for your accounting purposes.

Estimating your stockholding at year end could end up with you paying more tax than necessary. It pays in the long run to use a  professional stocktaker, and his fee is tax deductable.

We also conduct stocktaking for insurance claims such as fire and flood damage as well as burglaries, also accurate stock figures can help when getting business insurance quotes.
